MINOR PROGRAM IN
CONSERVATION

The contemporary theoretical approaches on conservation require a close collaboration between the fields of restoration/conservation and city planning. The first phase of this collaboration is the constitution of a shared framework of communication. Minor Program in Conservation for the undergraduate students of city planning aims at teaching the basic concepts of conservation as well as their conceptual parameters. The program offers six courses. The courses on the theoretical framework and the legal aspects of conservation are supported by several seminars on varying related topics. The theoretical accumulation of knowledge is tested through a field study in the workshop.
